I have extras of all of these materials in the classroom. If funds are a problem right now, it's cool.
Pencils, pens (black or blue for work, colored for grading), highlighter
Notebook & loose-leaf, wide-lined notebook paper (I won't accept assignments on tear-out paper - the ragged edges make it difficult to sort piles of assignments)
Scissors
Crayons & a glue stick
4 subject folders/w pockets
Hand held calculator
Ruler and protractor
OPTIONAL
Pencil container (Otherwise, the crayons, pencils, etc. will last about a week)
Box of tissue (If everyone brings in a box, we'll have enough to last the year) and hand cleaner (same deal)
Drinking water or light colored juice (We're far from water fountains. Red, purple and other dark colored juice can stain)
